Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course. An opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world. Originating with the Church of England the course is currently offered in 152 countries by many different Christian denominations.

Welcome and meet some new people
Small films with big ideas (25 minutes)
Each Alpha session features a 25 minute film. Designed more to provoke questions and discussion than to provide answers, these videos explore the big issues around faith, and unpack the basics of Christianity.
Discuss the questions that matter to you (30 minutes)
The entire session builds towards this segment, when participants meet in smaller groups where you can share your thoughts about faith and life and hear from others in your group. You can feel free to say whatever you like or as little as you like: it’s up to you.
