Welcome to the Church

Bringing Jesus To All People

We are a community of Christians seeking an intimacy with God.
We want to hear the words of Jesus and put them into practice in our everyday lives.
Our aim is to bring the liberating truth of the good news of Jesus Christ to those around us.
We long to see God’s kingdom grow and be established like a river that brings and sustains new life.

BECAUSE OF COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO HOLD SUNDAY SERVICES AT OUR USUAL VENUE IN PERPIGNAN.
Even when services are permitted, social distancing restrictions mean that it is still not practical for Riverchurch to meet at Eglise Saint Vincent.

We expect this situation to continue for the time being into 2021.
LENT - PREPARATION FOR EASTER

Loving God. Loving People.

Riverchurch is an English-Speaking Christian community based near Perpignan, in the Pyrénées-Orientales départment of southern France. Creative, fun, intelligent and culturally relevant, our desire is authentically to live out and demonstrate the good news of Jesus Christ, bringing hope and new life as we express Church in a contemporary, fresh and energetic style.

Worship with Us

Do everything in love.

We warmly welcome everyone from all nationalities and denominations as we encourage and inspire a community of Christians across the region.

Riverchurch does not have its own church building.

Unless otherwise stated, Sunday services are held at
“Eglise Saint Vincent de Paul”, Avenue de Gérone, Perpignan.

Services begin at 10:45am with refreshments served from 10:30am.

Parking is available at the Church.

A simultaneous translation of the service into French is provided via individual headsets.

Children have their own activity during the second half of the service.

The Catholic congregation meets on a Saturday evening and often leave us their flower displays for Sunday mornings! They also allow us space to store equipment from week to week, for which we are very grateful!

During the week, Mid-Week Fellowships, the Alpha course and other groups meet in various homes and venues as appropriate.
